I set out to go to the place I was told about. And the moment I reached that spot, I was totally mesmerized and speechless. The place was just so serene, so calm and was everything I thought of. But, seeing that, all I could think of was the journey that led me to this very point.

“कुछ  ख़त्म  हुआ  है  या  अब  कुछ  शुरू ,

कि  नयी  राहों  पे  आज  फिर  चल  दिया  है ,

ये दिल  होके  बेज़ुबान ”.

 

" और ये  दिल  की  ख़ामोशी  आज , याद  बचपन  की  ले  आयी ,

जहाँ  चुप  से  मेरे  मन  की , बेहद  सी  बातें  थी |".

 

“और बातें  तो  उनसे  भी  सारी  कर  लेता  था ,

पर  अब  तक  इस  दिल  की  एक  आरज़ू , अधूरी  है |”

 

 

“और  इस  अधूरेपन  मे गुम आज , मेरी  नींदें , मेरे  ख्वाब भी ,

बस  रात  की  इन लोरियों , का  ही  तो  साथ  है |”

 

बन  के  मुसाफिर  आज , मंज़िल  से  मिला  हूँ ,

तो  फिर  से  एक  सवाल  मैं  खुद  से  पूछता  हूँ ,

कुछ  ख़त्म  हुआ  है , या  अब  कुछ  शुरू ”

 

And I realized that it is never about the destination, but the journey and all the moments and emotions one feels throughout the journey. And what I thought would be the end of my journey actually became a starting point to an everlasting journey of emotions and moments.
